2016-2017 PBA Philippine Cup Team Preview (Part 2)

We already have a run-down of the three teams, now let's start with another three ball clubs in the part 2 of the 2016-2017 PBA Philippine Cup Team Preview.


Here are another three PBA ballclubs:

NLEX Road Warriors

NLEX will have a new lease in life after multi-titled coach Yeng Guiao decided to take the helm as the chief tactician.


With Guiao mentoring the young boys, NLEX is expected to be in the right path. 

The Road Warriors saw the retirement of veteran playmaker Jimmy Alapag in the off-season and NLEX will now lean on Kevin Alas and Garvo Lanete.

Meralco Bolts

After a successful runner-up finish in last season's Governor Cup, Meralco will now try its luck in the elusive Philippine Cup.


The Bolts have been playing well with imports but has a lackadaisical campaign in the All-Filipino Cup.

Meralco will parade an almost intact lineup with the additions of Joseph Yeo and rookies Ed Daquioag and Jonathan Grey.

Phoenix FuelMasters

Phoenix will try to improve its campaign this season.


The Fuelmasters drafted two promising rookies in Matthew Wright and Gelo Alolino.

Usual reliable JC Intal is still expected to lead the scoring cudgels for the Fuelmasters in their second season in the league.
