No Kobe Paras, No Problem As Creighton Upsets Wisconsin

Filipino teenage sensation Kobe Paras didn't see action on Tuesday (Wednesday, Manila time) after Creighton listed him as DNP-CD in the Bluejays Top 25 showdown at home with ninth-seeded Wisconsin at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
After a forgetful six minute playing time on opening night for the three-star guard Paras, this time he didn't see action.
Against University of Missouri-Kansas City on Friday (Saturday, Manila time), Paras never converted on his only attempt from the downtown while missing a free throw. He committed three personal fouls while adding a rebound and an assist for Creighton.
Khyri Thomas pick up the cudgels for the 22nd-seeded Creighton as the Bluejays upset Wisconsin 79-67, in the US NCAA Division I basketball.
Thomas exploded for 18 points including 15 in the second half highlighted by a perfect 3-of-3 from beyond the arc.
Maurice Watson had a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds as Creighton cruised to its second straight victory, all at home.
Wisconsin,  the 2015 NCAA Tournament runner-up, dropped to 1-1 and was led by Bronson Koenig who scored 21 points on 8 of 19 shooting, while Nigel Hayes added 16 for the Badgers, who next play Chicago State.
The Bluejays, on the other hand, will next face Washington State on Friday (Saturday morning in Manila) as the Filipino fans are hoping that Paras will finally have a breakout game.
