Kobe Paras finally put the ball on the basket in the US NCAA stage. The Filipino teenage sensation made his first field goal in the Division I College as the Creighton Bluejays routed Washington State, 103-74 on Friday (Saturday, Manila time). The 6-foot-6 rookie missed his first shot but pick himself up by finally making a basket with a pull up jumper in the free throw lane after driving to the basket. His jumper stretched the Bluejays lead to 30 points, 85-55 in the second half. It was the first basket of the three-star recruit forward after getting scoreless in Creighton's season-opener and didn't see action against No. 9 Wisconsin earlier this week. He wound up with three points on 1/8 shooting from the field while also grabbing four rebounds and registering a steal. Cole Huff led Creighton with 19 points, while Marcus Foster added 16. Conor Clifford exploded for 29 points for the Cougars, who suffered their first loss in three games. Creighton will next clash with fellow-unbeaten team North Carolina State Wolfpack (3-0)on Monday, November 21 (Manila time) at 9:30 AM.
